Plantation Cove (Grizzly's Plantation Cove)
Grizzly's Plantation Cove is a large outdoor event venue in Priory, a few minutes from Richmond Estates, and it's a genuine draw in its own right: it's the longtime home of Rebel Salute, billed as Jamaica's largest strictly-reggae, alcohol-free festival, held annually in January with a lineup of major roots reggae and dancehall acts.
The 2024 edition alone featured Sean Paul, Luciano, Capleton, Yellowman, Third World, Horace Andy, Anthony B, and I Wayne. The venue has also hosted other shows, including a Warrior King and Queen Ifrica concert (November 2023) and the Jamaica International Kite Festival (April 2023).
If a concert lands during your stay you're a five-minute drive from the gate — close enough to go on a whim, though not close enough to walk it.
