Runaway Bay Beach
Runaway Bay Beach is a classic north coast crescent beach — soft, light-colored sand and clear, calm-looking water, with the Green Grotto Caves and a few hiking trails nearby if you want to make a half-day of it.
It's a quieter alternative to the beaches directly in Ocho Rios, without the cruise-ship foot traffic.

- There's no lifeguard, restrooms, or dedicated parking at the public beach — pack accordingly and check conditions before swimming out.
- Pair it with Green Grotto Caves, a short drive further along, for a full afternoon out.
