Scotchie's
Scotchie's is the north coast's best-known jerk restaurant — an open-air pavilion built over a real pimento-wood fire pit, serving jerk chicken, pork, and sausage the traditional way. Expect to eat with your hands at a picnic table with festival (Jamaican fried dumpling) on the side.
It's a stop most first-time visitors to Jamaica make at least once, and it's an easy detour on the way to or from Ocho Rios.
